An Offer of Reprieve

It seems some foul weather has overtaken us. It may take some days for the skies to clear and I see now that some among you have taken refuge in rather awkward places.

So that you are not left in any great difficulty, I have opened the tunnels beneath the Keep for your use during this time. You will find that most elevators descend into these passages and they should take you wherever it is that you might wish to go.

However, should you happen upon a locked door or gate, do not try to force it open. What’s more, under no circumstances should you enter the sunken passages beneath Marigold’s Tower.

Your humble host,

Deior, Lord of Holloway’s Keep

[[ooc: That’s right, the series of passages underneath the keep are open for characters to explore, but only for a limited time. If you would like to have your character investigate anywhere in particular, please contact a mod.]]

Do you really think we're going to get answers?

[Despite the fact that answers do not typically come from the Lord of the Keep, Talia asks her question anyway. SOMEONE will hopefully answer. :\]

These elevators .. I do not imagine there is one in the stables, is there? Or that there might be one in the towers nearest us? I would prefer not to remain here for the duration of time if there is an alternative option..

Ah, so there you are!

I was wonderin' if you would speak from on high at some point at all or a figment of a great many imaginations.

Lovely accommodations by the way; with the walls, the deer that are more wild boar, than ungulate ...and OH! let us not forget the wisteria that rolls right up and greets us as if we were kings come home! Though it's a little too friendly, mate.

All that is absolutely NOTHING compared to the GIANT PILE OF MOVING ROCK.

So when were you thinkin' to tell us about that? Seems as if we were guests, as is proper, there'd be a list. A list of things to avoid if we wish to keep our health the most intact while you work upon whatever it is you are working on to send us upon our merry little ways, aye?

Yet here you are now! Offering us shelter in the dust! Quite generous of ya, mate. Really.

But between you, me and the wisteria... I just don't believe it's from the bottom of your heart.

[Stick in the cage? NEVAR. Perish the thought!]
